After twenty years, Sachein is making a comeback to the big screen, this time sporting beige cargo pants and a long-sleeved maroon sweater, and he intends to make an impression. Tamil superstar Vijay’s 41st film is the most sought-after entry among all the new releases this re-release season.This week marks the official re-release of John Mahendran’s Sachein.

Vicky Vijay, an auditor from Salem and a huge fan of Vijay, talks about his plans to see the re-release without missing a beat. “I can still clearly recall the day that Sachein was first available. I was very insistent that we watch the Vijay movie, but my father, who is an ardent superstar fan, wanted to see Chandramukhi,” — Rajinikanth’s film, as well as Kamal Haasan’s Mumbai Xpress, which came out with Sachein; we’ll talk about that later. Vicky says, “It was a fun aana Vijay padam, especially because of his comedic moments with Vadivelu, a well-liked couple from Friends.”
