In a thrilling match on Saturday, La Liga leaders Barcelona overcame a 3-1 deficit to defeat Celta Vigo 4-3, with a stoppage-time penalty from Raphinha increasing their lead over Real Madrid at the top of the league to seven points.

Ferran Torres gave Barcelona the lead in the twelfth minute, but three minutes later, goalie Wojciech Szczesny misjudged a cross and let Borja Iglesias score to tie the game.

The Spanish forward then stunned the home fans when he scored two more goals in the second half in identical circumstances, racing through to beat the keeper on his way to a hat trick.

However, Barca’s Raphinha and Dani Olmo quickly equalized at 3-3 with goals four minutes apart.

Raphinha stepped up to put the ball into the top corner in the 98th minute as Celta hung on but gave up a late penalty for a foul on Olmo that was given following a VAR check.
